April 18th, 19th & 20th I was a paying observer at The Clinton Anderson Horse Training Clinic held near Vicksburg MS. I want to express my appreciation for the horse training knowledge that I received at this clinic. I do not know how this could have been better, as an in-depth learning experience! All in attendance, those with horses to be trained & those who were observers, came away from these intense 3 days, with techniques that we can use with success at our homes, on our horses.

First , let me say that the arena facility was perfect for this clinic. It was held at Silver Creek Equestrian Club arena, a few mile from Vicksburg , MS. and it was in terrific condition and had all the "under roof" equipment for horses & people. This facility was a "big plus" for this 3-day clinic .

The clinic was the success that it proved to be, because of Krista Robinson, trained apprentice of Clinton Anderson horse training techniques. Krista worked very hard to accomplish her goal, which was that everyone "got their value from invested time & money" ! She made the hours fun & enjoyable, but accomplished her mission to have every horse finish the 3 days of training, as a much better horse than when they started the clinic!

She gave us 8 full hours of quality training time, each day. Actually more than this, as she never left the facility if anyone had a question or had a problem that needed extra work. She came in an hour earlier than scheduled, one morning, to work extra with an owner having a problem area with their gelding. This was her "natural style" to get the job done & to see each horse & rider leave the clinic in better control than when it started. She accomplished all of this with a "non-rushed", fun attitude and communicated thoughts & techniques in words and actions that everyone totally grasped. Everyone was most impressed & appreciative of what Krista gave to us. It was so obvious that Krista loves working with people & horses and to solve problems. She made it fun for all of us & made us better with horses!

We had 6 horses to be trained & this proved to be perfect . This gave each rider & horse lots of "hands-on" attention & extra practice time , to be sure all exercises were correct . We had a "diverse mix" with the 6 owners & horses: we had a young lady, who was a great rider & her young Quarter Horse that needed lots of techniques of control; a lady with a Western Pleasure Champ horse , that needed to improve her own confidence; a younger couple with a couple of "hot-blooded Arabs"; a couple with two "giant" riding horses , one a 17 hand/1600 lb. Percheron & a 17 hand, long bodied App. & both horses just needed to learn lots of R-E-S-P-E-C-T !

Krista got every horse to be a better horse & solved so many problems & just taught so much practical, usable techniques. She would demonstrate each new method, by selecting the horse "that was the most difficult" at accepting the new exercise. Once she had us grounded in the technique, on a problem horse, then she had each owner do the exercise with their horse & worked with them individually, until everyone "had it down"! Most impressive!

Krista answered "every dumb question" & was very patient & made sure that everyone really knew how to solve a problem or what technique to do in which order, to improve their horse. It was a very, very valuable 3-days and Krista Robinson is a terrific teacher & horse trainer! I recommend this horse training clinic to every horse owner!

I just returned from the 3-day apprentice clinic in Hurricane, UT with Shana and Krista. I was completely satisfied with the whole experience. Both trainers are awesome - very professional, patient, knowledgeable, hard working. It was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had with my horse. I have never worked harder, or been more tired and sore, and learned so much in such a short amount of time. You should call it horse training boot camp. :) I feel so priviledged to have attended this clinic with these two young ladies. Thank you for providing these kind of clinics.
